Zenger Film and Animation established in May 2012, is Afghanistan very first film and animation studio specializing in entertainment that animates rich Afghan culture, educating peace, building progressive platform for development of young Afghan generation and encouraging women capabilities. Zenger Film and Animations is registered with the Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan.
The vision of Zenger Film and Animation is to present the unique culture of Afghanistan through professional art of animation and bring in the notion peace in the war-torn country. We wish to establish a successful film and animation industry, like Disney and Pixar, for a peaceful, well-developed and new Afghanistan.
The mission of Zenger Film and Animation is to smoothen the bleeding-memory of Afghans, specially the younger generation who needs knowledge and entertainment to grow up, raising awareness for the elders and promote the multi-ethnic Afghan culture.
The team has experience in creating the longest duration 3D animated film (Buz e Chini) for Afghanistan. Buz e Chini has been watched internationally and appreciated by Afghans and others all around the world. Furthermore, Zenger Film and Animation has produced three 2D animated films since its establishment, early this year.
A six minutes long Animated film of a folk song of Herat Province, a research of Wahid Qasimi an song of Mr. Qasim Masroor.
A 10 minutes and 40 second 2D animated film promoting Ghazni province (Capital of Islam), which is the second story of an old man, the storyteller from Buz e Chini. The series will be continued to cover the rest of the 32 remaining provinces of Afghanistan by hunting their folk stories and presenting in their local languages.
Two 2D animated films from the animation series of Qissahai Mariam created for children educational awareness, includes promoting women capabilities in the modern field of animation and their responsibilities for raising the new generation.
The series of Qissahai Mariam will be up to 15 episodes.
